Robert Henry Newell (1836-1901)

Robert H. Newell was a journalist, who used the nom de plume "Orpheus C. Kerr." Kerr's letters satirized Lincoln, the federalist government, and the middle class, but Lincoln loved them and frequently quoted from them.
