John Wilkes Booth (1838-1865)
Booth, a well-known actor, committed the first Presidential assassination in American history when he shot Lincoln on April 14th, 1865. Front and back view of a Carte de Visite. The front has a picture of Booth. The back reads: "Do recognize him somewhere and kill him."
