Officer of Union Army's Invalid Corps

This lieutenant from New York became a member of the Union Army's Invalid Corps after being wounded at Chancellorsville. The Invalid Corps wore pale blue uniforms like this one and were assigned special duties for the funeral of President Abraham Lincoln.
