Gouverneur Morris (1752-1816)
Gouverneur Morris was an American political leader and diplomat who led the committee that produced the final draft of the U.S. Constitution. He was also U.S. minister to France during the French Revolution. This is an engraving of Morris after the painting by Thomas Sully.
