Boston Massacre
Paul Revere, the famous Boston patriot and silversmith was also an engraver. Revere's engraving titled, "The Massacre Perpetrated in King Street, Boston, on March 5th, 1770, By a Part of the 29th Regt." Revere printed and sold this picture as propaganda, and as a remembrance of the brutality inflicted on the people of Boston at the hands of King George's troops.
