Andrew Lang (1844-1912)

Lang was an English scholar and man of letters who is known mostly for his poetry, but he also wrote literary and art criticism as well as historical works. He was one of the first to apply anthropological findings to the study of myth and folklore; his best work in this field was Myth, Literature, and Religion.
