In this British cartoon, sympathetic to the colonial cause, Prime Minister Lord North, backed by military law, pours tea down the throat of America (portrayed as a woman). A Frenchman and a Spaniard look on with glee, while Brittania weeps. This was engraved for Royal American Magazine.
