General Henry Knox (1750-1806)
Henry Knox was a brigadier general and the chief of artillery during the Revolutionary War. He was the youngest general in the Continental Army and later served as George Washington's secretary of war. This mural medallion portrait was painted circa 1859 by Constantino Brumidi for the U.S. Capitol. It hangs in the President's Room in the Senate wing.
