British Cartoon about Rebellious Americans
In this indignant cartoon to show how royal authority was being disregarded in America, a group of Bostonians has tarred and feathered a tax collector and are pouring British tea down his throat. In the background, men are dumping tea into the harbor, and on the Liberty Tree a copy of the Stamp Act hangs upside down. A noose hangs at the waiting.
