Francis Bicknell Carpenter (1830-1900)

Francis Carpenter poses in buckskin with bow and arrow. Carpenter was an artist who painted famous portraits of Abraham Lincoln and his family. He became a friend of Lincoln's and wrote a book called Six Months with Lincoln.
