Aaron Draper Shattuck (1832-1928)
Aaron Draper Shattuck was an American portrait and landscape painter from New Hampshire. He belonged to the second generation Hudson River School. He preferred small, detailed paintings. Shattuck's favorite subjects were sheep and cows. In 1861 he was elected a full member of the National Academy. Shattuck signed this carte de visite.
