John Sleeper Clarke (1833-1899) Clarke was an actor and part owner (with Edwin Booth) of the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. Clarke married Asia Booth who was the sister of famed actor Edwin Booth and the infamous John Wilkes Booth.
