Robert Perkins Bass (1873-1960)
Robert Perkins Bass was the governor of New Hampshire. Bass was a prominent member of the progressive wing of the Republican party in the early 1900s and he publicly encouraged Theodore Roosevelt's presidential campaign in 1912. He graduated from Harvard in 1896. His father was the campaign manager for Abraham Lincoln in 1864.
