Henry Osborne Havemeyer (1847-1907)

Henry Osborne Havemeyer was the president of the American Sugar Refining Company which owned more than twenty-five plants and manufactured half of the sugar consumed in the United States at the time of his death. Havemeyer was also a collector of European art.
