Benjamin Barr Lindsey (1869-1943)

Benjamin B. Lindsey was a judge of the Juvenile and Family Court of Denver for twenty-six years beginning in 1901. Lindsey was the leader of the juvenile court movement and helped to introduce legislation establishing the principle that adults contributing to the delinquency of a minor were legally responsible.
