Lincoln Meets Grant in Petersburg

This drawing by B. W. Clinedinst appeared in "The Century" magazine's May-October 1897 issue, in an article entitled "Campaigning with Grant" by Harold Porter. General Ulysses S. Grant is shaking hands with President Abraham Lincoln, who is accompanied by his son, Robert, and Admiral Porter, outside the Wallace House in Petersburg.
