Nathan Bay Scott (1842-1924)
Nathan B. Scott was a banker and Republican politician from West Virginia. He served on the Republican National Committee and was elected to state and local offices. He was appointed Commissioner of Internal Revenue by President William McKinley in 1898 but resigned in 1899 to become the U.S. Senator from West Virginia. He served as a senator until 1911.
