William Howard Taft (1857-1930)
William Howard Taft was the 27th president of the United States, serving from 1909-1913. During his presidency, he continued the antitrust policies of his predecessor, Theodore Roosevelt. After his presidency, he was a professor of law at Yale and chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
