Annie Hughes (1869-1954)

Annie Hughes was a popular comic actress. In the 1890s she played the lead in "Sweet Nancy," at the Lyric Theatre. Later in life Hughes was popular on Broadway, where she performed in eleven shows between 1906 and 1920.
