Nelson Rockefeller (1908-1979)

Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller was a politician, businessman, philanthropist, and art collector. He was governor of New York from 1959 to 1973. His business interests included oil, real estate, and banking. He served on the board of the Museum of Modern Art from 1932 to 1975. Rockefeller was appointed vice president under Gerald Ford from 1974 to 1977.
