George Dashiell Bayard (1835-1862)

George Dashiell Bayard graduated from West Point 14th in the class of 1856. Bayard was a brigadier general and a cavalry commander for the Left Grand Division of the Union army when he was mortally wounded at Fredericksburg in December of 1862.
