Egbert Benson Brown (1816-1902)
Egbert Benson Brown was a Lieutenant Colonel and Brigadier General in the Union army. His command was characterized by extreme caution and timidity. He was severely wounded several times and resigned November 10, 1865 with one shoulder totally disabled and a bullet in his hip.
