Daniel Harmon Brush (1813-1890)
Daniel Harmon Brush was a Union soldier in the 18th Illinois who served as Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, and was brevetted Brigadier General, U.S. Volunteers. He was wounded in action at Fort Donelson and Shiloh. After the war he was a successful lawyer, merchant, and banker.
