James Craig (1818-1888)

James Craig was a captain of a volunteer company in the Mexican War and a Democratic U.S. Congressman from 1857-61. He was commissioned Brigadier General of Volunteers by President Lincoln and commanded the departments of Nebraska and Kansas.
