Theodore Gunville Ellis (1829-1883)

Theodore Gunville Ellis was a Union soldier who served in the 14th Connecticut Volunteers as 1st Lieutenant Adjutant, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, and Colonel. He was brevetted Brigadier General of Volunteers. He was a civil engineer who published many papers concerning engineering in railroads and mining.
