Statue of Robert Fulton

This is a photograph of a statue of Robert Fulton by Theodor Horydczak that is located in Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol Building. Fulton was an American inventor, engineer, and artist, who brought steam boating from the experimental stage to commercial success. He also designed a system of inland waterways, a submarine, and a steam warship.
