General Beauregard's Headquarters at Bull Run
This house is "Liberia," the Weir Family residence. Following the 1st Battle of Bull Run, Confederate General Beauregard moved his headquarters from Wilmer McLean's residence, "Yorkshire," to "Liberia." When Union forces arrived, General McDowell used "Liberia" as his headquarters. The house was also visited by President Lincoln.
