Manzanar Relocation Center

Here is the entrance to the Manzanar Relocation Center in California. A total of ten camps were established during World War II to hold more than 110,000 Japanese-Americans. Officially described as relocation centers they were in truth concentration camps, where many inmates remained imprisoned until 1945.
