The Last Stand

George Armstrong Custer is depicted kneeling on the left, beside other soldiers shooting at the Sioux Indians and a soldier in the center carrying a wounded man. This is an illustration by Frederic Remington of Custer's last stand at the Battle of Little Bighorn, where he and all his men were killed.
