Mary F. Scott Siddons (1844-1896) and Husband

Actress Mary Frances Scott Siddons, the great granddaughter of Mrs. Siddons, first appeared in London in 1867 at the Haymarket Theatre, as Rosalind. She made her 1868 New York debut, again as Rosalind, at the Worrell Sisters' Theatre. Scott Siddons married Mr. Canter (left), who changed his name to Scott-Siddons.
