Ringgold Light Artillery

The soldiers of the Ringgold Light Artillery are on duty at the Washington Navy Yard in April 1861. The photograph was inscribed: With the Compliments of the Commandant -- Captain Dahlgren. (Captain John A. B. Dahlgren was the commandant of the Navy Yard and the Chief of the Ordance Bureau during the Civil War.)
