Henry Krowlow

Henry Krowlow was a replacement recruit in the 66th New York Volunteer Regiment, mustered in March 18, 1865. After being wounded at Petersburg on March 31, Krowlow had his right leg amputated in the field. Here he lies in Harewood Hospital, Washington DC, fighting for his life. Krowlow died on June 24, 1865.
