Presidential Reviewing Stand of the Union Armies
For the Grand Review of the victorious Union armies in Washington, DC, May 23 and 24 of 1865, the Presidential Reviewing stand was in front of the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue. It is occupied by President Andrew Johnson and his cabinet, Generals Ulysses S. Grant and William T. Sherman, and other military officers. The blur on the right of the image is the parade.
