Lincoln-Berry Store

In January 1833, Abraham Lincoln and William F. Berry began the operation of their store in this building, the finest in the village. Lincoln served a portion of his postmastership in this building. The large room was the store proper, while the rear served as a storeroom for a time, Lincoln's bedroom.
